SAM ACOSTA : A BEAUTY AND BRAIN TO WATCH OUT IN THE 2017 MISS PHILIPPINES EARTH

Miss Philippines Earth, the only national pageant in the country that cares and protect the environment is fast approaching with about fifty beauties from all over archipelago and Filipino Communities abroad vying for the title and 4 other elemental crowns.
Pulilan, Bulacan entry Samantha Viktoria Leonardo Acosta is more than ready to compete with other environmental savvy beauties. Though this is her first national pageant Sam has already 3 years of pageant training under the strict supervision of Kagandahang Flores (KF). Only ninenteen, she is the eldest among the four siblings. Her parents Ronaldo Acosta and Ma. Victoria Leonardo are in full support for their daughter in the coming Miss Philippines Earth Pageant with pre events activities already in full swing.
Sam is a 3rd year college student at the University of Asia and the Pacific in Ortigas, Pasig taking up Entrepreneural Management. She already had her own business, a rice retailing store in her native province in Pulilan. “ I decided to up up a rice business because my parents run a rice mill in our province. So far the result is very encouraging and I’m planning to put another retail store probably this year”, Sam enthused.
Sam has her own share of beauty pageants experience and accolades. She is the reigning Reyna Ng Bulacan –Earth 2016, Bb. Pulilan grand winner in 2014, RCBC Next Generation It Girl in 2015, EMA next Top Model 2016, Miss Science Questor 2012 at the Holy Spirit Academy of Malolos. Many of her peers says that she has a big resemblance with actress Lovie Poe and Miss Universe Philippines Maxine Medina.
She love spending quality time with her family and being in class. She goes to the gym 4x a week to maintain her 34-26-35 figure that compensate her 5’7” height. “Green Time” is her slogan in the coming Miss Philippines Earth. She explains that everyone must give at least 5 minutes of their precious time daily to do something good for mother earth.
Her favorite MPE title holder is Jaimee Herrel who was also crowned Miss Earth 2014. I had a very nice time and memories with Jaimee, we trained simultaneously in KF 3 years ago and she was very supportive and giving me pointers and words of encouragement if ever I will join a national pageant someday”, Sam says.
Miss Philippines Earth 2017 will have its coronation on July 15 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. So lets all watch out for Sam Acosta, a beauty with a heart for mother nature.
