PEPPS KICK-STARTS 4 EVENTS FOR 2017

Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation Inc. (PEPPS) launched 4 major events for 2017 last March 8 at House Manila of Remington Hotel Resorts World Manila.
The trade launch, entitled KICKSTART: THE 2017 PEPPS TRADE LAUNCH, saw the unveiling of the 4 major events that will be produced by the organization – Philippine Pageant Ball, Man of the World, Misters of Filipinas, and Halloween Horror House.
“This is a milestone for our organization and I am proud of what we have done so far”, mentions PEPPS president Carlo Morris Galang. “It’s really something for everyone to look forward to because the 4 major events are really something to be excited about.”
The trade launch was mounted to serveas a jumping pointto establish strong partnerships with different companies in various industries for each or all of the major events to be staged by the organization.
The first event to be presented is the Philippine Pageant Ball. The event will invite national pagerants as well as smaller pageants from cities, municipalities, and provinces. In the works for the event are red carpet, succulent dinner, world-class entertainment, as well as awards and raffles. “This is really a mmilestone. We are making history because we really haven’t had a major avenue for all the pageants to be celebrated”, says the event’s project head JP Anonuevo.
Next in line is a new international pageant for men where 40 to 50 men from all over the world competing for the title. “Man of the World Competition promises something new in male pageantry”, said Galang. “We will have a series of activities that are driven on showing our candidate’s positive attributes”.
The inaugural competition, which will have its coronation on July 29, will feature an opening ceremony where the pageant’s advocacy will be stressed. There will also partner with schools from all over the Philippines to support their cause on youth empowerment through education and tourism.
Third event for the year is Misters of Filipinas. The most prestigious male pageant was launched anew during Kickstart. “The screening of Misters of Filipinas 2017 is scheduled earlier than the usual (June) because we would want all of the candidates to be present during the coronation of Man of the World. It would be a great experience for the candidates to watch the international pageant because ultimately, they will be competing to represent our country internationally”, PEPPS vice president Jhune Salud mentions. Like previous edition, the candidates will also visit other parts of the Philippines. Misters of Filipinas will have its finals night on September 23.
Last but not the least among the 4 events is the Halloween Horror House. This is a non-pageant event, a unique walk through experience that promises the ultimate thrill this coming Halloween. “What’s different this year is that our event will last for 4 days”, said project head Janel Hernandez. Halloween Horror House is not just your typical theme park. This indoor event slated on October 30 to November 2 at One esplanade features a horror maze where visitors become part of the story that unfolds before them courtesy of characters are played by talented actors and given a realistic spooky look by US-trained prosthetic make-up artist Faye Young.
