MISS UNIVERSE 2016 A TASTE OF PANAGBENGA FESTIVAL IN BAGUIO

Twenty-four of the eighty six delegates of Miss Universe 2016 had a taste of one of the most colorful and exciting street festival in the Philippines, the Panagbenga Festival. The ladies enjoyed the cold weather and the warm reception from the people of the Summer Capital of the country. The parade started at the upper part of the busy Session Road and ended at the historic Baguio Country Club and Hotel. They were joined by the reigning Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and the executives of Miss Universe Organization led by their president Paula Shugart. Former Governor of Ilocos Sur Luis Chavit Singson also joined the parade. He is the head of LCS, the group responsible behind the staging of Miss Universe here for the third time.
