MARY ROSE SALUBRE IS MRS PHILIPPINES UNIVERSE CLASSIC 2017
Forty-year old Sydney based Pinay Mary Rose Salubre is the country’s candidate to the 2017 Mrs. Classic Universe 2017. The finals will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria this January where Mary Rose will compete along with more than thirty delagates from different parts of the globe.
A special send-off party was held last January 9, 2017 at the Alex III Restaurant along Tomas, Morato, Quezon City to usher the start of Mary Rose campaign for the the prestigious title of Mrs. Classic Universe 2017. Family, friends and media supporters were present to give Mary Rose all the moral supports she need when she get there in Bulgaria.
The local franchise holder of the pageant, Ovette Ricalde saw the potential of Mary Rose. “ During the Mrs. Universe last year in China, she won a special award and she got good impressions from the judges. I think with all her experience she gained, Mary Rose is more than ready to compete and eventually to grab the title of Mrs. Classic Universe 2017”. A native of Leyte, she recalled that her first pageant was way back when she was sixteen years old. Now a proud mother, she is pursuing her degree in Law. She is preparing for the presentation of her platform on women’s violence and will share her insight on this global issue among the candidates of Mrs. Classic universe 2017.
