Forty beauties from different parts of the world gathered at Waterfront Casino Pavilion Manila for the Press Presentation of the Miss Asia Pacific International 2016 yesterday November 17. After more than ten years of hiatus, the first and original beauty pageant in Asia is making a major comeback.
President of Miss Asia Pacific International Ms. Jacqueline Tan was ecstatic to know that there is an overwhelming support both from the media and sponsors to revive this classic beauty pageant in this side of the world.
Miss Yangon Nay Chi Lin was voted as Darling of the Press by the members of the media that attended the event. Canada’s Natalie Carriere placed second and Achol Arow of South Sudan was third.
Coronation Night is scheduled on November 23 at the picturesque Sheridan Hotel and Resort, Puerto Princesa Palawan.
