WELCOME BACK JESLYN SANTOS, MISS UNITED CONTINENTS 2016

Filipina Jeslyn Santos went home triumphantly after bagging the crown of Miss United Continents 2016 held last Sunday, September 25 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She bested 27 other candidates from all the continents of the world. Her court includes Metis Riis from Denmark; Lopamudra Raut of India; Taynara gargantini from Brazil; Mexico’s Cynthia Duque and Rita Silvestre of Panama. She is the first Asian to win the title in the 4 year history of the pageant.
She arrived Tuesday September 27 via Turkish Airlines at 6pm in the evening. Aside from the crown valued at $15K, she also won $10,000 in cash and other valuable prizes from sponsors. Jeslyn told the members of the media who attended her arrival mini prescon at the NAIA Terminal 1 VIP Lounge that she is dedicating her triumph to all her fellow countrymen especially the people of Hagonoy, Bulacan where she hailed from. She is thankful to the local organizer of Miss United Continents headed by Mr. John Dela Vega, a well known beauty queen-maker, events director cum choreographer.
Jeslyn will be very busy for the next 12 months in fulfilling her duties and obligations as the new queen of all continents. She is scheduled to fly back in Ecuador late this year to do some charity works and to attend various events as part of her job.
