One of the reigning Gentlemen of the Philippines 2016 Andrea Biondo meet up with the members of the press last September 18 at Icon Hotel in Timog, Quezon City for the traditional send-off press conference. He will depart on Tuesday, September 20 to Bali, Indonesia and compete with over sixty delegates from all over the globe for the title of Mister Universal Ambassador 2016.
Biondo says that he is physically and mentally prepared for the pageant. “I will show to the people of Bali that I have a heart of a Filipino and a passion of an Italian, I will give my all during the competition proper”.
For his national costume, designer Nick Guarino made an intricate Muslim inspired outfit that depicts royalty and bravery of the Sarimanok.
The candidates will stay in Bali and will move to Surabaya from Sept. 28 to 30 for the finals of the pageant.
