Miss Aviation 2016 Crowned
Eighteen year-old charmer from Navotas City was proclaimed Miss Aviation 2016 on February 9 at the Rigodon Ballroom of The Peninsula Manila in Makati City. Kristine Micah Malicsi, a former Mutya Ng Navotas 2015 and a Tourism student of Lyceum University bested 14 other aspirants at the conclusion of the pageant. She was crowned by Cleo Brown, last year winner. Kristine says during the question and answer portion that she will promote aviation and tourism in the country thru social media and will create a blog that will showcased the beauty of the Philippines and the importance and relation of aviation to tourism. In prepraration for the finals, Kristine was trained under the supervision of Jontie Martinez of FDAP.
Kristine’s court were Reinchelieu Emory Santos-first runner up who is studying Aviation in La Union and Trizia Abaya of UP Diliman-2nd runner up. Chief organizer of the pageant Morena Carla Cabrera Quimpo was very much happy with the results of the 2-year old pageant and looking forward for more edition in the coming years.
Kristine will recieved cash and other valuable prizes from the sponsors including travels. She will be promoting the advocacy of the pageant as well as the tourism of the country during her entire reign.
