MR AMD MISS CHINATOWN PHILIPPINES 2013 PRESS PRESENTATION
The official candidates for Mr and Miss Chinatown Philippines 2013 was officially presented to the members of media yesterday, May 21, at the Royale Sharksfin Seafood Restaurant in Binondo Manila. 16 gorgeous ladies and 15 equally handsome men made it to the final cut of the first ever search for Mr and Miss Chinatown Philippines. The pageant is a partnership of Miss Chinatown Foundation, Inc. and ABS-CBN Corporation. It is a very unique pageant that embodies the achievements of the modern Chinese-Filipino man and woman from the Chinese community of the country, to serve as a unifying event for Chinese-Filipino, to show the diversity of beauty in the Chines- Filipino culture and to spearhead a new pageant rich in Chinese tradition and modern touches. “This pageant will redefine Fil-Chinese beauty and pave the way for better business relations, and realize cultural and artistic goals” said Alexis Sy Go, the national Director of the pageant. A culturally enriching beauty pageant that seeks to discover Chinese-Filipino talents who posses admirable traditional values but with very contemporary stance and projection and hone to be part of the next generation of stars in the Chinese entertainment industry. The Grand Coronation night will be on June 30, 2013 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila and to be telecast ive on ABS_CBN.
