Miss Global Philippines 2015 Crowned
Twenty-eight year old Vigan lass Candice Ramos emerged victorious last night, Sept. 5, 2015 when she was crowned as the new Miss Global Philippines 2015 at the Newport Theater of Performing Arts , Resorts World in Pasay City.She bested twenty one other hopefuls. Candice responded to the final question with conviction and got the nod of the panel of judges. “Definitely I would give up my career in exchange of the Miss Global Philippines crown because this will going to be my new career that eventually will feed me and will open many doors and opportunities and at the same time I could reach to the people and be of service to them.”
Candice is also into travel business and her most important advise to local travelers is to explore the country first before travelling abroad. Henna Santos a nineteen year old beauty from Ilocos Norte was declared first runner-up. Henna was a front runner during the pre-pageant activities as she bagged major special awards of the beauty pageant. The rest of her court are Mary Eileen Gonzales from Quezon City-2nd runner-up, Angela Anninang from Negros Occidental-3rd runner-up and Meryl Angeline King of Albay - 4th runner-up. Catherine Almirante, last year winner and 2nd runner up in the Miss Global International 2014 crowned her successor. Candice will be the country’s representative to the annual Miss Global International 2015 to be held here in Manila this coming October.
