Twenty-six year old Anabel Christine Tia, is the Official Philippine Representative at the 2015 Miss United Continents Pageant to be held in Guayaquil, Ecuador from August 29 to September 12, 2015. A native of Ozamis City, Misamis oriental, this 5'8 tall Visual Artist and a double degree holder (Nursing and Education) of Misamis University is the only child of Mrs. Pelita Gonzales, an English teacher, while her father is a Registered Nurse and businessman. A woman who has the passion to serve others, Anabel is the founder of AMOMA Foundation, an organization that conducts medical mission, feeding program, giving school supplies and teaching kids how to paint and dance.
Anabel was personal handpicked by noted pageant mentor and events director, executive producer of Pinay Beauty Queen Academy and Philippine Franchise holder of Miss United Continent, Mr. John Edward Dela Vega. She was one of the Official Candidates of Bb. Pilipinas 2014 and 15 pageant.
“I’m so delighted upon knowing that I was chosen by Tito John to be the official Philippine delegate to the pageant. It is indeed an honor to represent our country in an international pageant, I promise to do the best that I could possibly do to bring home the crown and make our country proud.” says Anabel during a brief interview last Thursday, Aug. 27 during an intimate send-off press conference held at the Mr. Choi restaurant in Magnolia Robinson’s prior to her departure the following day.

Anabel spent almost a month of rigorous pageant training under the supervision of Mr. John Dela Vega and his team. She will be wearing aPINTADOS inspired National Costume designed by Mr. Louis Pangilinan of San Pablo City, Laguna. Additional wardrobe requirements were provided by Joel Acebuche, Cecille Buenavides and House of Fabulusa.
Established in 2006 as Miss Continente Americano by Maria del carmen de Aguayo, )also the president/Owner of Miss Ecuador Pageant that holds the Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, Miss Earth, Miss Supranational licenses) the pageant was the conceive exclusively for Latin American countries. In 2013, the pageant was made even bigger by welcoming the rest of the continents, Asia, Europe and Africa, hence the pageant name was renamed Miss United Continents. The year 2015 marks the 10th year of the pageant organization and its 3rd year as Miss United Continents.
Reigning Miss United Continents 2014 Geisha Montes De Oca of the Dominican Republic, will crown her successor with a beautiful crown valued at 30K USD designed by prestigious jewelry designer Daniella Kronfe at the Grand Coronation Night to held in Teatro Centro Civico Eloy Alfaro ( where Miss Ecuador pageant is also being held) on September 12, 2015.
