Mutya ng Pilipinas 2015 Press Presentation

The 47th edition of Mutya Ng Pilipinas Beauty Pageant kicked-off with a blast last July 17, 2015 during the Press Presentation of the thirty official candidates. The event was held at the Plaza of Resorts World Manila in Pasay City. “Beauty Tourism” crusaders from Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and Filipino Overseas gathered to vie for the most coveted titles of Mutya Ng Pilipinas Asia-Pacific International, Mutya Ng Pilipinas-Tourisn and Mutya Ng Pilipinas-Overseas Communities. The pageant’s President and CEO Ms. Jacqueline Tan was very much elated with the turn-out of the media attendance that covers the event this year.
The Swimsuit Competition is scheduled on July 20-22 at the Sheridan Beach Resort &Spa in Puerto Princesa, Palawan where the candidates will show their curves wearing a two-piece swimwear by Wanderlust owned by former beauty queen Maggie Wilson-Consunji. Meanwhile, Hannah Beach Resort & Convention Center in Pagudpud Ilocos Norte will be the venue of the Long Gown Competition from July 24-26. The ladies will parade in their most stunning and elegant gowns designed by the country’s top couturiers. On July 27-29, splashes of creativity, innovative costumes and unique talents will fill the night as each designer presents the grandiose cultural allure. Each candidate wears something that will reflect her region. And finally on August 2, the Grand Coronation Night will be held at the Resorts World Manila to be telecast on ABS CBN’s “Sunday’s Best”.
