Hazel Ortiz and Mike Gerard Mendoza Off To Hollywood Fof WCOPA 2015 Modeling Competition
Two pageant veterans will represent the Philippines in the forthcoming 2015 World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA) Modeling Section in Hollywood, California, USA from July 10-21.
Hazel Ortiz, a nineteen-year old stunner from Tanauan, Batangas, former Miss Bikini Philippines 2014 and her male counterpart, Mike Gerard Mendoza who represented the country last year at the Mr. Model Universe in Domincan Republic will vie together with more than fifty aspirants from different parts of the globe for the prestigious WCOPA Modeling Competition 2015.
Five-foot nine inches Hazel is currently enrolled at Jose Rizal University taking up Business Administration Major in Management. “I’m going to give my best shot when I get there in Hollywood. This is once in a lifetime opportunity and I will show the judges and the people there what I had learned in the past weeks during my training. I am optimistic that I will be able to reach the finals of course with the help from my KF Family especially Tito Rogil Flores and John Cliff who will be providing my wardrobes during the entire competition”. Hazel says.
On the other hand, Mike Gerard the reigning Mr. Philippines 2014 is oozing with much confidence for the coming international competition. “I gained a lot of experience and knowledge during my entire pageant in Dominican Republic that will surely help to boost my confident in the competition. I am excited more than pressured and I am really looking forward for this break and hopefully I will going to nailed this with the help from my friends, supporters and of course our Creator” says the six footer from Bulacan province. Twenty year old Mike Gerard is currently studying at OurLady of Manaog, Sta. Maria, Bulacan taking up Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Miss Rhodora Morales, a well-known philanthropist who was behind the successful stints of our past WCOPA delegates, once again will anchored the Philippine delegation this year. “ Panata ko na talaga ang tumulong sa mga kabataan na may ambisyon at may potential para makilala sa kanilang mga mapipiling larangan. And just Like the previous years, it is my privilege to be of help and service hindi lamang sa mga napiling maging kalahok , higit sa lahat para sa karangalan ng ating bansa”. Miss Morales is the current Chairwoman of Paragon Business Consultancy, Inc.
