Miss Tourism Philippines 2015 Visits Rizal Province
The forty-one official candidates of Miss Tourism Philippines 2015 visited the different places of Rizal province from July 2-3. First stop is the magnificent Loreland Farm Resort in Antipolo City, the capital of Rizal. The ladies had a whole day fun shoot with selected invited photographers. They were toured to the entire place by the very accommodating staff of the resort. They had a sumptuous lunch at the famous Balaw-Balaw Restaurant in Angono where they feasted in different exotic dishes prepared by restaurant owner Andrei Vocalan. Angono is known for their famous artists such as Lucio San Pedro, Botong Francisco and the Blanco family. The incumbent Mayor of the province, Gerardo Calderon was present to welcome the beauties from different part of the country.
Early in the afternoon the ladies went to SM Taytay to grace the biggest Bridal Event in Rizal province. They were featured in a fashion show together with the reigning MTP winners led by Cindy Maduma and Athena Catriz. Finally, late in the afternoon the ladies had a shoot at the famous Hinulugang Taktak. Considered a national park in the country, the falls went to a thorough rehabilation. This is one of the project of the Mayor of Antipolo City, Casimiro “Jun” Ynares III to bring back the glory days of Hinulugang Taktak. Councilors from different part of the city attended the event to give some information about the place and the updates of the on-going rehabilitation. Selected members of the media were invited to cover the event. The ladies also feasted with the famous delicacies of the city, from Suman to Kasoy nuts to Sapin-sapin and Bibingka.
Francisco “Gareth” Blanco, Jr., the Chief organizer of the pageant was so elated with the warm reception from the people and officials of the entire Rizal province. He is thankful for the unending support accorded to his group during the entire Rizal visit.
Miss Tourism Philippines 2015 coronation night is slated on July 30, 8pm at the Theater, Solaire in Pasay City. To be telecast on a delayed basis over GMA News Channel 11 on August 9.
