Miss Earth, the only international pageant with mission to take care and preserved our environment is half way through with their pre-events activities. Last November 21, the candidates were treated to a warm hospitality of the South Luzon when the Resort Wear Competition was held at Pontefino Hotel and Residences in Batangas City. Twenty seven of the eighty five official candidates showed-off their best form and colorful resort outfits during the competition.
High profile Batanguenos were in attendance during the occasion. Executives and officials of Pontefino were also present led by their Chief Finance Officer Tommy Tantoco and Chief Operating Officer Fely Ramos. Miss Russia Anastasia Trusova was named Miss Pontefino Hotel while Venezuela’s Alexandra Rodriguez was declared Miss Pontefino Rsidences. The most awaited announcement of Resort Wear Competition was followed. Venezuela took home the bronze, the silver went to Sasi Sintawee of Thailand and the coveted gold medal was won by USA Andrea Neu. Aside from the medals the lucky winners also went home with cash prizes on their pocket.
The following day, the ladies were busy with the tree planting activities in front of the Mansion Park Avenue, the latest and the most premium project of company so far that promotes modern living and green community environment . The ladies were also treated to a tour of the entire Pontefino properties that includes Pontefino PRIME-a luxury exclusive resort living in prime location, within walking distance from hospital, mall, church and school. One Pontefino is another premium new offering that will cater to Filipino family in few year’s time and the Park Avenue Mansion, the most exclusive and high-end residences of Pontefino. The four winners had a swimsuit pictorial at the pool side of the hotel before they finally back to Manila for another pre-event activity.
Miss Earth 2014 Pageant will culminates on a grand coronation night on November 29, 2014 to be held at the newly refurbished UP Theater in Diliman, QC telecast live over Starworld Channel and will be shown on November 30 over Kapamilya Chanell ABS CBN 2.
