The third Annual Mr. and Miss Diversity Culture International 2014 was officially launched last October 23, 2014 at the L’Opera Ristorante at Bonifacio Global City. From an online casting abd refferals, the organizers have selected Rey Alvin O. Arranguez of Cebu and Renee Soraya Hassini of Quezon City and Bohol Province as the Mr. and Miss Diversity Culture Philippines 2014.
Alvin is a nineteen year old student taking up Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of the Visayas. He is a basketball player towering at 6’2”. He recently joined the Misters of the Philippines where he landed as one of the Top 9 finalists. On the other hand, Soraya is a graduate of Interior Design at PSID and currently enrolled in TIP taking up Architecture. She recently won 2nd Runner-Up (Miss Environmental Protection) at the Miss Quezon City Pageant.
These two Philippines’ bet is set to vie for the Mr. and Miss Diversity Culture International 2014 crowns where the grand finale will be held at the Newport of Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila on December 3, 2014. More than 50 delegates from different parts of the world are expected to compete in this international gathering of cultures and heritages.
