Twenty-three of the country’s most beautiful QUEENS were presented to the members of media last Friday, July 25, 2014 during the press presentation of the first ever search for QUEEN OF THE PHILIPPINES 2014 BEAUTY PAGEANT held at Cali Burger in Timog, Quezon City. The stunning candidates came from hundreds of applicants who were selected through a series of screenings walked the ramp in their swimwear designed by Sony Boy Mindo. This maiden batch is comprised of models, university students, sales professionals, and a PWD (Person with Disability)- a first in the history of beauty contest in the country. Megastar Productions headed by Mr. Ovette Ricalde is the man behind the staging of this first ever beauty pageant search together with his business partners. Representing the best in their cities and provinces, the candidates spend a week packed of activities leading to the coronation night. They will undergo physical fitness training, personality development and pasarela sessions to become more competitive. There will be a series of photo shoots, TV guesting and sponsors visit.
Queen of the Philippines 2014 is being presented in cooperation with Subic Bay Yacht Club and Subic Bay Travellers Hotel and Event Center- the Official Venue and Residence of the candidates. Three titles at stakes, winners will going to represent the Philippines in three international beauty pageants- FACE OF BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL, FACE OF THE WORLD and MISS YACTH MODEL INTERNATIONAL. Aside from the prestige of being crowned as the first ever Queen of The Philippines winners, they will also get cash and other fabulous prizes from sponsors of the pageant. Coronation Night is on August 1, 2014, 8PM at the Subic Bay Yacht Club in Subic Bay Free Zone (SBFZ) to be telecast over Global News Networks (GNN) on a delayed basis.
