The inaugural Miss Grand Philippines (MGP) 2014 is excited to announce International Academy for Aesthetic Sciences (IAAS) as its official beauty academy. Utilizing a force of well-respected Aesthetic Practitioners, IAAS is the country’s first Aesthetic Academy that aims to give their students the best education in the field of Aesthetic Science. The partnership between the two new players in the beauty and aesthetic industry aims to foster women empowerment and domestic tourism.
The contract signing was held last Monday, July 21, 2014 at International Academy for Aesthetic Sciences, Quezon City. Present at the contract signing were IAAS Chairman Dr. Victor Endriga, IAAS President Ma. Andrea Andal, IAAS Vice President for Business Affairs Dr. Rudy Apostol, IAAS Voice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Cecil Catapang, IAAS Vice President for Marketing Nino S. Mas and Miss Grand Philippines President/National Director John Dela Vega. Twenty four equally gorgeous candidates of Miss Grand Philippines visited the aesthetic headquarters of IAAS on the same day and were given with training on proper skin care, corrective make up and several aesthetic procedures. The candidates were treated with goodies from Colour Collection Cosmetics of Tupperware Brands Philippines and Aura Skin Nutrition products.
On being the major presentor of Miss Grand Philippines, Nino Mas is thrilled and happy with the partnership. “Our partnership with Miss Grand Philippines 2014 is a testimony of our quest to live up to the image of “International Academy” in the same way as MGP aims to create a significant mark in the international pageant world. Both organizations also share the same vision of promoting the best things that Philippines can offer to the rest of the world.”
Meanwhile, Dela Vega is happy that IAAS has partnered with MGP. “Being part of Miss Grand Philippines 2014 requires beautiful face and well-proportioned figure. Aside from swimsuit and long gown competitions, each candidate is expected to showcase their beautiful facial features and svelte physique all through out the pre-pageant activities. IAAS can be of great help in providing education and training to the candidates in terms of facial beauty and body aesthetics.”

IAAS formally opened its door to aspiring local and foreign aesthetic practitioners this July of 2014. The academy takes pride in having tested and proven highly effective services known within the aesthetics industry and continuously innovate by using methods and practices with Japanese, Korean, American and European standards.
Miss Grand Philippines on the other hand, is the country’s newest national pageant that selects the Philippine representative to the Miss Grand International Pageant. Inspired by the Third Runner-up finish of Ms. Ali Forbes, Philippines’ representative to the inaugural pageant last year in Bangkok, Thailand, this year’s local search aims to promote domestic

tourism.
Two lucky candidates will be chosen as Face of IAAS and Miss International Academy for Aesthetic Sciences to be awarded on the coronation night. The eventual winner of Miss Grand Philippines 2014 and her court will receive full scholarship grants and become image models and endorsers of the academy.
