MR. AND MISS COSMOS PHILIPPINES 2020, A ONE OF KIND PERSONALITY SEARCH

The inaugural Mr. and Miss Cosmos Philippines 2020 is the latest additional search in the world of pageant industry here in the country and was officially launched last January 12 at the soon to open H Café located at Scout Limbaga corner Mother Ignacia in Quezon City.
The search is being organized by New Space Age, Inc. in cooperation with Prime Events Productions Philippines Foundation, Inc. (PEPPS). Top brass of both organizations, Mr. Don Moral and Carlo Morris Galang were present to enlighten the selected media invited at the launching and other guests on what the latest search is all about and how it will going to run.
The people behind Mr. and Miss Cosmos Philippines and PEPPS would like create a national awareness on growing space industry during the various pre-final events of the search. They want the people specifically the millennials to increase their knowledge about cosmic and space matters and its relation to humanity. The search advocates for the better understanding of the universe, promote diversity and global unity, monitor climate change, minimize natural disasters, sense of pride, exploration for another home and to be at par with other countries. The eventual winners of the Mr. and Miss Cosmos Philippines 2020 will become space ambassadors and will have a huge task of promoting the cause and the advocacy of the pageant during their entire reign. Exciting and innovative pre-finals events are being prepared such as Futuristic Wear competition and Galaxy Ball.
The launching was hosted by former Miss Earth Air Melanie Mader and attended by the officials of PEPPS led by Carlo Moris Galang, Marian Galang, Aski Pascual and other staff of the organization. The search is open to single or married men and women from 20 to 45 years old with good moral character, Filipino citizen and with pleasing personality and most importantly have the passion to promote space awareness. Basis in selecting the official candidates (15 male and 15 females) and the winners will be based on the following criteria: intelligence – 30%, physical beauty – 30%, character – 20$ and over-all impact – 10%. Online screening will start on January 15, Final screening will be on March and the tentative date of the finals is on May 9, 2020.
The winners of the search will be the country’s representatives to the inaugural Mr. Cosmos World and Miss Cosmos World (separate pageants) happening in the last quarter of the year. The search is being presented by New Space Age, Inc and will be executed by PEPPS, the group behind the search for Man of the World, Misters of Filipinas and owner of various international male pageants franchise.
