MUTYA PILIPINAS: A VICTORY AND A SEND-OFF PRESS CONFERENCE

Mutya Pilipinas beauty pageant, one of the most prestigious and longest running national beauty pageant in the country honored two of their reigning queens for 2019 in a special 2 in 1 event happened last January 10, 2020 at the CWC Interiors Showroom at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
Fresh from her successful stint at the recently concluded World Top Model 2019 competition in Monte Carlo, Manaco, the first ever Mutya Pilipinas World Top Model title holder April May Short had her homecoming victory press conference. She competed with the world’s most sought after promising models and was able to end up as Top 12 finalist. Her impressive performance at the competition won her a two month scholarship in the Top Model of the World Academy in Milan, Italy. Th 5’10” Zamboanguena is scheduled to leave on May to pursue her training and modeling career.
On the other hand, Tyra Florito Goldman is set to leave the country on January 12 to compete at the Top Model of the World pageant happening on the 24th of this month at the Meraki Resort in Hurghada, Egypt. The 18 year-old Fil-Am beauty is the last to compete internationally among the reigning Mutya Pilipinas 2019 Queens. Tyra is an aspiring doctor in the future and Mutya Pilipinas was her first pageant ever.
Mutya Pilipinas will start the Philippine pageantry calendar and is gearing up with great expectation this year. The national search will begin in May and tentative national finals is on September.
