THE QUEENS GIVE BACK

True to their words and titles as reigning queens of Mrs. Asia Pacific beauty pageant 2019, Queen of Hearts Foundation led by their CEO and former international title holder Mitzie Go Gil together with her reigning queens Mrs. Asia Pacific Global 2019 Avon Morales and Mrs. Worldwide 2019 2nd runner-up Lenna Tan Arcenas ( with her 2 daughters) visited the St. Rita Orphanage located along Sucat Road, Paranaque City for a gift giving and feeding program last December 28, 2019.
The shelter was established way back in 1964 and currently home for some 25 orphans. Sr. Melanie Baytan, AR, treasurer of the orphanage welcomed the beauty queens and selected members of the media to cover the special event.
For this month alone the foundation already conducted several missions throughout the country from Magalang, Pampanga where they gave medical supply, foods and toiletries to Sta, Rosa, Laguna where they provide snacks and toys to 100 orphans to Visayas (Boracay and Iloilo) down to Mindanao in Kidapawan and North Cotabato where they provide aids to less fortunate families.
For the coming year, the Queens is planning to construct school in Bacsay, Mapula-Pula, Cagayan De Oro for the indigenous people of the province and housing projects for Dumagat tribes in Rizal province.
The foundation is grateful to all the sponsors and supporters who made their missions a big success. The Queen of Hearts and their queens is looking forward to more projects to prove that beauty queen does not only possess beauty and wit, but most importantly with a heart to help the under privileged.
Mitzie Go Gil is also planning to put up a cable channel this coming 2020 exclusively for the Queen of Hearts Foundation events and for the TV broadcast of their national beauty pageants Mrs. Asia Pacific Philippines 2020 and Miss Queen of Hearts 2020.
