PAOLO GALLARDO IS ALL SET TO CONQUER THE MISTER GRAND INTERNATIONAL STAGE

Nineteen year old Paolo “Ozzy” Africa Gallardo is due to leave the country tomorrow, November 7, 2019 via Cathay Pacific Air to compete at the annual Mister Grand International pageant happening on November 11 at Yangon, Myanmar. The charming and articulate hunk is a native of San Fernando, La Union. Paolo won the right to represent the country in one of the prestigious international pageants for male last September 19 when he topped the national search participated by forty equally handsome men from all over the country.
Paolo is very confident that he will be the first Mister Grand International winner from the Philippines. He is a senior high student at La Union National High School and planning to pursue Computer Engineering in college. His first ever pageant was the Ginoong Kabataan search in his hometown and went on to captured the Mr. Boardwalk title in Dagupan three years ago. An orphan at the age of ten, Paolo wants to advocate for the love of children specifically for those who lost their parents at the very early age.
In preparation for the international pageant, he went on to different types of extensive training, strict diet, walking and proper posture and studied current events for the question and answer round. Mister Grand International aims to promote health and sport programs among the participating countries, and as his way of contributing to the cause of the pageant, he will going to showcase his expertise in arnis, a native national martial arts sport in the country. Paolo will be wearing creations of Ricky Ching and Ruel Rivera for his national costume, formal wear and barong.
During a simple send-off party held last Nov. 6 attended by selected media from the pageant world, Paolo expressed his gratitude to all the people who made his dream to represent the country a reality including Mr. Meg Perez, the national director and head organizer of the local search of Mister Grand Philippines and for all the supports coming from his family and friends. He ended by saying that he is very much overwhelmed for the opportunity to compete in one of the most prestigious male pageant in the world today.
