CYRILLE PAYUMO TO COMPETE IN MISS TOURISM INTERNATIONAL 2019

Newly appointed Mutya Pilipinas Tourism International 2019 Cyrille Payumo is all set to compete internationally as the country’s representative to the annual Miss Tourism International 2019 beauty pageant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on November 8.
A special send-off press conference was held last October 22 at the showroom of CWC Interiors in BGC, Taguig City owned by Mr. Fred Yuson, Chairman of the Board of Mutya Pilipinas organization. Cyrille was accompanied by the president of Mutya Pilipinas, Miss Cory Qurino as she answered some questions from the members of the media who attended the event. It can be recalled that Cyrille was proclaimed first runner-up during the national finals of Mutya at the Mall of Asia Arena almost 2 months ago, but due to technicality regarding compliance with the rule of the international organizing committee of MTI that contestant or representative of a country must be a natural born citizen. The original title holder of Mutya Pilipinas Tourism International 2019 Tyra Goldman is not qualified to compete for the reason that she was born outside the Philippines, therefore Cyrille replaced her position as the new Mutya Pilipinas Tourism International 2019. It is also decided that Ms. Goldman will be competing in another international pageant late this year or early next year. Also present during the press conference to give his message of support is the member of the Board of Trustees of Mutya, singer and actor Mr. Ogie Alcasid.
Miss Tourism International 2019 will be stage at the Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel and Spa Ballrom with international delegates from the four corners of the globe competing for the coveted title.
Pinoy pageant fans are encourage to support Cyrille by voting using Star Phone App and dial *1313. The eventual winner of the voting will automatically advance to the finals of the pageant on November 8. Cyrille is currently in 4th position.
