BATCH 2019 OF MRS. TOURISM BEAUTY PAGEANT PRESENTED TO MEDIA

Eighteen of the twenty seven official candidates for the third edition of Mrs. Tourism beauty pageant were presented to the members of the press during the media presentation happened last October 16 at the City Hall of Pasig City. Nine more international delegates are expected to arrive on the next couple of days. The intimate event was hosted by Mr. Onin Mas who also hosted the two previous edition of the pageant.
Megastar CEO and President Mr.Ovette Ricalde announced that aside from the 5 existing titles at stake for this year search (Universe, World, International, Earth and Globe) a new title will be handed out on the finals, the Mrs. Tourism Queen Mother 2019 title. Ricalde has been discovering and handling many national beauty queens from 1989 to 1999 and eventually got involved with Mrs. World as the long-running license for the original pageant for married women from 1999 onward. The candidates will embark on an out of town tour in Tagaytay and Batangas this coming weekend before they begin to rehearse for the coronation night.
The winners of Mrs. Tourism 2019 will be the face and voice of the pageant’s advocacy to stop racial discrimination while at the same time promote her own personal social platform. As such, each winner will be tagged as “The Mother Who Cares for the World”.
Finals of the pageant is scheduled on October 28, Monday at the Tanghalang Pasigueno located in the heart of Pasig City. Mrs. Tourism 2019 beauty pageant 2019 is being presented by Megastar Productions with the support of the Department of Tourism of Pasig City.
The candidates presented at the media presentation are from Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, India Universe, India World, India International, India Earth,Japan, Japan Asia, Laos, New Zealand, Philippines, Philippines South, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand and Tokyo.
