MRS. UNIVERSE PHILIPPINES 2019 CHARO LAUDE MEET AND GREET WITH THE PRESS.

Former young star and That’s Entairtainment mainstay Charo Calalo Uy a.k.a Charo Laude had an intimate “Meet and Greet” with selected members of the media from showbiz and pageant blogs. The event happened last October 14 at Simon’s Place Acoustic Bar in Sct. Borromeo, Quezon City.
Charo is the country’s official representative to the annual Mrs. Universe beauty pageant happening from December 22-Jan 1 next year in Guangzhou, China. She was accompanied by the CEO of Philippine Honorable Queens (PHQ) Ms. Marilou Tolico Villanueva. “I am very optimistic that Charo will do her best and will make a good showing in the up coming Mrs. Universe pageant because of her determination and will to succeed”, Marilou says during a brief interview. “We are all excited here in PHQ to follow her one week journey in the pageant starting third week of December”, she adds.
Charo is an entepreneur. She owns a nail spa center, milk tea house and she also runs a food business. A mother of three children, this former celebrity was a semi finalists in the 1998 Bb. Pilipinas pageant. She wants to be a role model and inspiration to all mothers who have dreams and ambitions in life. She is also empowered woman through her advocacy which deals on the awareness and desire to stop domestic violence among battered women and children in the country.
Charo is also into community service. Recently, she teamed up with Joaquin Domagoso, son of incumbent Manila Mayor Isko Moreno . They will be promoting projects that will lift up the lives of Manila residences. She ends up her meet and greet with the media by reminding everyone to build a society of dreams and achievers.
