POLISH BEAUTY TOPS MISS EARTH SWIMSUIT COMPETITION 2019 FOR FIRE GROUP

A total of twenty-six international delegates vied for the coveted gold medal of the swimsuit competition for Fire group of the on-going Miss Earth 2019 beauty pageant here in the Philippines last October 8
Lago De Oro, a prime tourist and family destination for a week-end vacation hosted the pre-pageant event of the 19 year-old international beauty pageant that advocates for the preservation and restoration of Mother Nature. The resort which is located in Bgy. Balibago, Calatagan, Batangas is just a 2 hour travel from the metropolis. It has a swimming pool for adults and children and rooms complete with amenities such as LCD flat television and air condition. They have restaurant that serves Filipino and other international dishes. Recreational activities includes billiards, table tennis and darts but the main attraction for the visitors of the resort is the wake boarding, a popular aqua sport here in the country and other water ski facilities.
At the end of the competition, Miss Poland Krystyna Sokolowska was awarded the gold medal besting 25 other beauties from around the world, Modupe Susan Garland representing Nigeria took home the silver medal while Nikki Prein of the Netherlands was conferred with bronze medal.
Earlier on the same day, the candidates were engaged in installing artificial coral reefs in the waters of Maragondon, Cavite spearheaded by their incumbent Mayor Hon. Reynaldo Rillo. The project will serve as a food source, shelter and breeding areas for aqua marine wildlife. The same environmental drive was implemented in Calatagan, Batangas last August where U.S. Military Divers assisted Philippine authorities in the installation of artificial habitat reefs.
Miss Earth 2019 beauty pageant will culminates in a grand finale on October 26, 2019 at Okada Manila in Paranaque City where 85 of the world’s most environmental savvy women will compete for the coveted crown currently held by Nguyen Phu’o’ng Khanh of Vietnam.
