CAMILLE JOY ANG IS ALL SET FOR THE MISS TOURISM WORLDWIDE 2019

Nineteen year-old university student from Imus, Cavite is this year’s Philippines entry to the second edition of Miss Tourism Worldwide 2019. Camille Joy Cabanas Ang is leaving on Tuesday, September 17 for Singapore to start her quest for a back to back title in the 2 year-old beauty pageant won by fellow Filipina Zara Carbonell last year.
A freshman student of Lyceum University of Manila taking up Cruise Line and Hotel Management, Camille is all set to compete with twenty-nine other international delegates from around the world. A special send-off press conference was held last Sunday, Sept 15 at the coffee shop of Novotel Hotel, Araneta Center in Quezon City attended by selected members of the media. Local franchise owner of the pageant Miss Mitzie Go Gil was present to give her full support to Camille. Mitzie the woman behind Queen of Hearts Foundation, Inc. that runs the Mrs. Asia-Pacific Philippines, a beauty contest intended for mothers and married women. Also present during the occasion are some of the winners of the inaugural edition of the pageant led by Avon Morales Mrs. Asia Pacific Global 2019, Mrs. Asia Pacific Worldwide Llena Arcena and Mrs. Asia Pacific Cosmopolitan Mary Grace Camacho.
Camille was unanimously chosen during a special screening held few weeks ago. Fresh from her stint at the recently concluded Mutya Pilipinas pageant, the charming Cavitena wants to promote the culture and tradition of the Philippines among her fellow candidates. She loves reading and describe herself as patriotic, conservative and hospitable a typical characteristic of a genuine Cavitena. Her national costume and evening gown will be provided by Filipino designer and DCP officer Edwin Uy.
Miss Tourism Worldwide,a pageant under Lumiere International will culminate in a grand coronation night on September 22 in Batam, Indonesia. The winner will be the official ambassadress of the pageant for one whole year.
