FORTY BEAUTIES VIE FOR MUTYA PILIPINAS 2019

Forty official candidates of the 51st edition of Mutya Pilipinas beauty pageant were presented to the members of the media in a special event held last August 1 at Citadines Bay City Manila.
The ladies bravely walked the ramp as they try to impress the crowd inside the ballroom during the introduction part of the event. They were selected from among hundreds of applicants all over the country in the past several months. They are welcomed by the new president of Mutya Pilipinas Ms. Cory Quirino, a well known beauty and wellness guru in the country. Cory is not a newbie in the world of pageantry as she previously heads another national beauty pageant few years back.
She says that the open door policy of Mutya Pilipinas is more evident now than ever where any and all aspiring candidates may apply regardless of their previous pageant affiliation.
There will be 4 major titles at stake for the 2019 edition of the pageant – Mutya Pilipinas Asia Pacific International, Mutya Pilipinas Tourism International, Mutya Pilipinas Filipino Overseas Communities and the latest addition World Top Model Philippines. Two runners-up will also be chosen.
For the next more than two weeks, all the candidates will be very busy in the various pre-pageant activities of Mutya Pilipinas before heading to the grand coronation night on August 18 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City to be telecast on a delayed basis over Kapamilya network Abs Cbn Channel 2.
