ROTARIAN BEAUTY QUEEN TO COMPETE IN INTERNATIONAL PAGEANT ABROAD

A thirty year-old Rotarian from Muntinlupa City is the country’s official representative to the annual Mrs. International Global 2019 in Malacca, Malaysia on the 28th of this month.
Lovely Gervacio Tajan is all set to to leave on July 22 to compete in one of the most prestigious and exciting beauty pageants for married women and mothers in the world. Together with more than 40 international delegates from the four corners of the earth, Lovely is very proud and ecstatic to carry the national colors of the Philippines in the beauty contest.
A registered nurse by profession, the tall and eloquent mother of two boys had a a special send-off party last July 19 held at the Steak House 77 along Timog Avenue in Quezon City attended by selected members of the media, family, friends and fellow beauty queens. Present during the occasion is no less than the national Director of Mrs. Universe Philippines Marilou Tolico Villanueva, a former beauty queen herself. She says that she is very optimistic on Lovely’s chances in Malaysia. “She is very much prepared and determined to compete in the pageant. Together with her other sisters, she will have the full support of the finest women of Mrs. Universe Philippines organization”, Marilou enthused. Reigning Mrs. Universe Philippines 2019 Patricia Javier also gave the same insight. “Lovely have all the qualities that Mrs. Sharon Too (owner of the international pageant) is looking for a winner. My advise for her is just be herself, enjoy the entire pageant and promote her advocacy”, Patricia says.
For her part, Lovely and the rest of her team is wrapping up for the final stage of preparation. From training in pasarela, public speaking, styling up to her wardrobes, Lovely is more than ready for the competition.
Prior to her preparation, Lovely is very much involved in various outreach programs in the country. Her advocacy has something to do with domestic violence among women in the country.
Mrs. International Global pageant brings together some of the loveliest and smart married women in the whole universe to form camaraderie and friendship where they can light up and promote the pageant advocacy which is Be Brave and Stop Bullying.
Lovely is leaving on July 22. We wish her all the best of luck in her journey to one the Mrs. International 2019 crown!
