ADDITIONAL TITLE FOR MUTYA PILIPINAS 2019

Mutya Pilipinas beauty pageant has launched its latest acquisition in addition to their existing international titles that will surely makes the 51st edition of the pageant more exciting to watch out for.
World Top Model Philippines will debut this year and will transform the national beauty pageant into a hybrid competition as they will welcomes professional and aspiring models to be part of this year’s search.
There will be 5 titles at stakes for 2019 namely Mutya Pilipinas Asia-Pacific International, Mutya Pilipinas Tourism International, Mutya Pilipnas Tourism Queen of the Year, Mutya Pilipinas Overseas Communities and World Top Model Philippines. Aside from the above mentioned, they will also awarding 2 runners-up.
The official launching was held last July 8 at the Garcia-Quirino function room of Ascott Makati, one of the supporters of Mutya Pilipinas pageant attended by selected members of tri-media. Present during the event is no less than the newly appointed President of the pageant Miss Cory Quirino who was very happy to announce the good news together with the Chairman of the Board Mr. Fred Yuson who told the members of the press that there will be more positive changes in the future as Mutya Pilipinas evolves.
The winner of Top Model Philippines 219 will represent the country in the finals of World Top Model in the city of Montercarlo, Kingdom of Monaco this coming December.
Mutya Pilipinas will have the Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP) as its partner who will handle the training of the winner of World Top Model Philippines title in preparation for the international modeling competition. PMAP was represented by Ms. Anna Siddeco (President) and Paulette Quinto. Also present at the event were the executives of Ascott Makati and Mr. Roberto De Venecia former board member of Mutya Pilipinas.
For 2019 edition, the organizer is expecting around 40 official candidates including representatives from the different Filipino Overseas Communities. Mutya Pilipinas 2019 will culminate in a grand coronation night on August 18 at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
