A TRIUMPHANT RETURN FOR MISS INTERNATIONAL 2013 VEA ROSE SANTIAGO

The Philippines’ fifth Ms. International titleholder, Bea Rose Santiago, returns home to the Philippines via Japan Airlines in the evening of December 21, after her successful stint in the 53rd Ms. International Pageant. Much anticipation is set for Bea’s return, who bested 66 other beauties in the prestigious pageant. The stunning 5’9 beauty from Cataingan, Masbate wowed the judges with her classic beauty, charm and wit. Since leaving for Japan early this month, Bea had been very busy with the different pre-pageant activities. Upon her arrival, Bea and the other candidates toured Hakone, a designated geo park by UNESCO, Asakusa, a district in Tokyo famous for the Senso-ji Buddhist temple, the Imperial Palace, and the Meiji-Jingu Shrine. Immediately, after her victory, Bea begun her duties as the new Ms. International. Apart from press conferences in Tokyo, Bea also met Governor Takaichi Sanai, made a courtesy call to the Japanese Ministry of Tourism, and did charity work, including the UNICEF Earthquake Relief. Upon her arrival at NAIA terminal 1, she was given a rousing welcome by the members of the press, and her fans. Bea is scheduled to have her victory press conference om December 22, Sunday at Gloria Maris Banquet Hall in Gateway. The country’s five Ms. International crowns were won by Gemma Cruz in 1964, Aurora Pijuan in 1970, Melanie Marquez in 1979, Precious Lara Quigaman in 2005 and Bea Rose Santiago in
