DENISE OMOROG – FROM THE LAND OF BEAUTIFUL WOMEN BICOLANDIA

Twenty four year-old true blooded Filipina Louiselle Denise Omorog is representing Catanduanes in the forthcoming Bb. Pilipinas 2019 beauty pageant. The province once known as a typhoon prone area is part of the vast Bicol Region.
The 5’8” tall Denise was a Finance major student at the De Lasalle University Taft when she decided to transfer in De Lasalle College of Saint Benilde where she graduated with a degree in Consular and Diplomatic Affairs. She finished her primary and secondary education at the De Lasalle Zobel School in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. She has also earned a certificate in French Immersion program in Strasbourg, France.
Denise as she fondly called by her peers loves to travel. In fact she’s been to some key places in Europe (Germany, Switzerland and France). She is also a frequent tourist in Dubai where her aunt is based and works as flight attendant in one of the major international airlines. Her dream travel destination is Morocco and looking forward to visit the place in the future.
She is a multi title holder in various beauty pageant in Bicol and Bb. Pilipinas is her very first national pageant. This Venus Raj dead ringer is supporting and protecting the rights of indigenous people specifically the Aetas. As part of her personal advocacy, she recently went to Bataan and visited the Aetas community where she saw in her own eyes the situations and other problems of the tribe.
Denise says that her province Catanduanes is fast becoming a tourist destination with its pristine and white sand beaches. There is also a place called Little Batanes. She further explained that because of climate changes the once typhoon prone province, is having a normal climate season cycle. Her favorite dish is called Humba, a pork based dish cook slowly in low fire until it become tender , seasoned with soy sauce, sugar and vinegar.
Comes June 9, she wants the people of Cantanduanes to be proud of her. She promised to do her best at the finals of Bb. Pilipinas not only for herself but most especially for her family, friends and fellow Bicolanos.
