ENVIRONMENTAL ADVOCATE CROWNED MISS TEEN TOURISM PHILIPPINES 2019

A young environmental advocate from Valenzuela City was crowned the first ever Miss Teen Tourism Philippines 2019 during the finale of the pageant last May 12 at the Carlo P. Romulo Auditorium , RCBC Plaza in Makati City.
Kira Eowyn Manasala bested thirty-three other teens to become the inaugural winner of the pageant. During the press conference right after the coronation, Kira says that she is aware that there are many factory in their city manufacturing plastic products. She want to be the voice of the youth and given the chance to talk with the local officials in their place she would like to tackle the environmental issue with them to minimize the problems pertaining to plastic garbages
Early favorite Roberta Tamondong of San Pablo, Laguna was named 1st runner-up and Rose Ann Pangilinan representing San Fernando, Pampanga took home the 2nd runner-up honnor. Completing the Top 7 finalists are the candidates from Tiwi, Albay, Candaba, Pampanga, Muntinlupa City and Legazpi, Albay.
Former Ms. Philippine Earth 2013 Angelee Delos Reyes is one of the hosts of the pageants. Judges at the coronation night include actress Assunta De Rosi, blogger Voltaire Tayag, Mr. Universe Tourism Phil Kelvin Aguilan, Nix Soriano of Nix Institute of Beauty, Rob Hayden, Sara Kae and Michael Sta. Maria.
As the winner of Miss Teen Tourism Philippines 2019, Manasala will be the representative of the country in the i Miss Teen Tourism International 2019 to be held here on May 31.
