JEWEL OF THE WORLD 2019 CANDIDATES PRESENTED TO THE PRESS

Fifteen of the seventeen official candidates for the second edition of Jewel of the World pageant were presented to the members of the tri-media last May 7, 2019 at the pool side of the posh Hilton Manila, Resorts World Manila in Pasay City.
The Philippine based international pageant was launched last year with Neena Bezuidenhout of South Africa as the inaugural winner. The pageant celebrates “Beauty in Cultural Diversity” and it aims to promote acceptance and recognition, understanding and respect for cultural diversity as it highlights the rich culture and heritage of the Philippines and its participating countries.
Main presenter of the beauty contest is Mileage Asia Corporation, makers of Orabella Gold beauty products and Elm’s Kapihan Group. Gohotels.ph is the official residence. Other sponsors are DLTB, Bewverly Hills resort, Montahe Skin Science and Aesthetics, Sand’s Spa and Courbe Face& Body Specialist, Top V Hotel, Villa Gloria, Honda Cars Bulacan, make up partners Liza Querubin, Tyke King Photography, Designers Circle Philippines, JM Pageantry Innovations and media partners, OPMB Worldwide, Missosology and The Qrown Philippines.
Miss China Huli Xie and Thailand’s Chontida Chatsirichai were chosen as Designer’s Choice while Misses Philippines Maria Divine Angela Veranga, Ecuador Susy Sacoto and Ghana Lauretta Thompson were adjuged Darlinds of the Press.
Grand coronation night is on May 14 at GT – Toyota Asian Cultural Center in UP Diliman, Quezon City.
