FILIPINO FASHION DESIGNERS AND ORGANIZERS (FFDOA) LAUNCHING

The newest organization in the world of fashion designers was launched last April 26 at the Reap Center Bldg., Banawe, QC.
Filipino Fashion Designers and Organizers Association or simply FFDOA officially introduced their group as the latest additional to the growing number of fashion designers association in the country. Headed by their hard working Founder and Chairman Ms. Rose Jorta, the group aims to share their knowledge, ideas, hearts and passion to their fellow fashion designers in the industry. As a neophyte, FFDOA members are in the process of honing their crafts and potentials to enable them to be at par with the other organizations in this side of the world.
Aside from Ms. Jorta, other officers and staff of FFDOA were present during the launched:
Robert Gallardo III – Chief Operating Officer
Ybrahim Alejandro – Secretary
Aji Kamahalan – Finance Director
Randy De Leon Satin – Social Affairs Director and Elecom
Anna Ligaya – Marketing Director
Juvy Fantillanan – Audit Director
Reugine Lester Chiung – Event Director
So far, there are more than twenty bona fide members comprise of professional and new comers in the field of fashion designing.
As opening salvo of FFDOA, the group is mounting a grand fashion show dubbed as Festival Fashion Week to be held at Fisher Mall Activity Center on May 9 this year featuring more than 80 promising models and the creations of 9 of the members of FFDOA. Part pf the proceeds from the event will go to Cottolengo Filipino, Inc., home of abandoned and disabled children.
A number of projects within the year are in the offing like the search for Reuna Elena De Filipinas, the launching of their very own fashion magazine, FFDOA Runway Supermodel Search Phil, International Fashion Designers Gala to be held in Thailand this coming November and many more .
