MISS EARTH 2013 TREE PLANTING AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AT PONTEFINO HOTEL AND RESIDENCES
One of the advocacies of Ms. Earth Beauty Pageant is to generate millions of trees for the future generation. Last November 29, 2013, selected candidates of the twelve year old pageant went to Pontefino Hotel and Residences in Batangas City. One of the highlight of their visit was the planting of Fire Trees along the highway. Aside for environmental cause, the trees will serve as an attraction for the visitors in the coming years during its flowering season. Like the Cherry Blossoms in Japan, Fire Trees flower can easily attract people for its bright orange color during its season.
For their part, Pontefino Hotel and Residences made sure that environment and progress stands side by side to balance the need for changes and development as well as maintaining its environmental friendly reputation.
Miss Earth Beauty Pageant will culminates on December 7, 2013 at the Versailles in Alabang, Muntinlupa City and will be telecast live over Starworld Cable Channel.
