MISS INTERCONTINENTAL 2018 KAREN GALLMAN: THE OLIVARIAN HOMECOMING

Reigning Miss Intercontinental 2018 Karen Juanita Gallman had her grand homecoming at her Alma Mater Olivarez College last Friday, March 1 in Sucat Paranaque campus. The event was organized by Mr. Anshari Hablo Alonto, organizers and director of various pageants in Paranaque City.
Karen waves jubilantly to the students and faculty members as she walked in to the school coliseum where the program proper was held. The twenty six year old Filipino-Australian beauty was born in Bohol Province and migrated to Australia with her family at the age of 8. She went back to the country years after and obtained her high school diploma in Olivarez CollegeTagaytay campus. The school has so far produced a number of notable personalities in the field of pageant and modeling (Jeannie Flores, MJ Lopez, Divine Veranga among others). Present during her homecoming were the reigning Mr. and Miss Olivarez College 2019 winners, some of her high school teachers and classmates, officials of the schools who presented certificates and plaque of appreciation for the honor she gave to the school as the first ever Miss Intercontinental winner from the Philippines.
Karen’s fond memories in Olivarez include her first runner-up finished when she joined the school’s annual pageant search. The Bohol-born beauty first entered in the Bb. Pilipinas beauty pageant way back in 2012. She won Miss Photogenic and was able to finish among the semi-finalists. Six years later, she redeemed herself when she was crowned Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2018 March of last year at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. She went on to represent the country at the 47th Miss Intercontinental beauty pageant held in Manila last January 2019. The rest is history.
