







FILIPINA WINS MISS INTERCONTINENTAL 2018 CROWN

Twenty-six year old beauty from Bohol was crowned Miss Intercontinental 2018 during the three hour finals of the pageant held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City last Saturday, January 26. Karen Juanita Gallman bested eighty-two other hopefuls from different part of the world to clinched the first ever Miss Intercontinental title for the Philippines.
Karen won the right to represent the country in the 47th edition of the pageant last year when she was crowned Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2018 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. She was trained under the Kagandahang Flores Camp (KF) headed by Rodgil Flores. The 5’6” beauty impressed and won the hearts of the international panel of judges when she respond to the final question regarding the meaning of success.
Bb. Pilipinas Charities Inc. executive committee members were in attendance led by Mr. George Araneta and Mrs. Stella Marquez Araneta to give Karen the much needed moral support.
Karen’s court includes Etiophia Bella Lire lapso – 5th runner-up, Bietnam Ngan An Le Au – 4th runner-up, Colombia Hillary Hillman del Prado – 3rd runner-up, Slovak Republic Laura Longauerova- 2nd runner-up and Costa Rica – Adriana Moya Alvarado – 1st runner-up.
The Filipino-Australian beauty would like to push an educational program for children living in remote areas of the country within her reign.
