RIKKI MAE DELA PENA IS MISS PHILIPPINE YOUTH INTERNATIONAL 2019

Twenty year old Rikki Mae Dela Pena of Metro Manila was crowned Miss Philippine Youth International 2019 during the finals night of the pageant last January 7 held at SM Megamall Cinema in Ortigas.
A special victory press conference in honor of Rikki Mae was held last January 20 at the Peacock Ballroom of Great Eastern Hotel along Quezon Avenue. The event was attended by members of the media, family and friends of Rikki Mae. Her co-winners for the second edition of the pageant were also in attendace led by Angelo Basa Mr. Philippines Youth International 2019, Jillian Santarina Miss Philippine Youth World 2019 and Angelo Jerome Sazon Mr. Philippine Youth World 2019.
The graduating student of University of Asia and the Pacific says that she was very pleased to see her family and friends and the pageant press during the meet and greet where she divulge her plans for her entire reign as Miss Philippine Youth International 2018.
She has two advocacy. Number 1 is to support the educational program here in the country and the other one will focus on mental health. Someday, she wishes to build a community wherein she can be of service to the victims of anti bullying and body shaming. Rikki grew up in a close family tie where she give weights to self-confidence, love and generosity. The newest beauty queen of the country loves travelling, fashion designing and playing volleyball. She is also involved in various charity works such as creating fund raising in social media page to support World Vision Organization whose main concern is to upgrade the educational program here in the Philippines.
Winning the Miss Philippine Youth International 2019 title is a dream came true for Rikki Mae. She believes that being a beauty queen is not just about being physically attractive but most importantly, having a beautiful mind and personality. She further explained that having a pleasant attitude is the key to being successful in any endeavors.
