MRS. PHILIPPINES ASIA-PACIFIC 2019 CANDIDATES REVEALED

Noli A. Berioso

Sixteen equally gorgeous and empowered women were presented to the members of the media during the press presentation of the inaugural Mrs. Philippines Asia-Pacific beauty pageant held last December 9 at the Hotel Colonia En Las Filipinas in Makati City. The official candidates were representing the different cities and provinces in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. This group of married women who do not let their ages and civil status to be a hindrance in achieving their dreams bravely walked the stage and answered questions from the press with poise and conviction.

Present during the event is no less than the reigning Mrs. Philippines Asia Pacific-Tourism 2018 Mitzie Go Gil who also heads the 2019 search. Mitzie was crowned mid this year in Johor Bahru, Malaysia where she bested twenty-two other married women from around the globe. Aside from fulfilling her duties and obligations as the reigning queen, Mitzie is also on hand with her own foundation called Queen of Heart Foundation, Inc. the presenter of the inaugural search. Mitzie says that these women are not the usual mothers who confined inside their houses. They are skilled and empowered.

A series of activities and events await the candidates during the duration of the pageant that will culminate in a grand coronation early February next year. The media presentation was hosted by Mr. Clyde Cordoves. At the end of the program, three candidates were named Darling of the Press: Marjorie Orito of Olongapo, Helen Dixon of Los Banos and Jennifer Pia of North Cotabato.
