MARCO POLI ALL SET FOR MR. SUPRANATIONAL 2018
Mr. Supranational Philippines 2018 Marco Poli is more than ready to compete in the forthcoming Mr. Supranational 2018 pageant scheduled on December 8 un the spa resort city of Krynica Zdroj, Poland.
As part of his preparation, the 6’3” Fil-Italian model has embarked on a intensive training regimen and high-definition diet, the better to look lean and mean on pageant night. He has also been brushing up on Polish culture and current events in anticipation of the much –anticipated Q&A segment.
For his formal wear, Marco will be wearing suits designed by Adam Balasa.
A football player since his childhood days, Marco plans to highlight sports and health awareness as his main advocacy. He believes that physical training is one of the best tools to teach kids to be proactive and be more responsible citizens.
Asked about his fondest memories of his recent Mr. World Philippines 2018 stint, he says, “I really enjoyed the dancing during the opening number. That was fun!” He also enjoyed the friendships he forged with his fellow competitors.
This year marks Mr. Supranational Philippines’ inclusion among Mr. World Philippines highly-coveted titles.
Miss/Mr. World Philippines National Director Arnold Vegafria is confident that Marco can win the crown and eventually pave the way for the wider acceptance of male pageants in the country.
“Just like our winning beauty queens, I believe that Marco and other male pageant titlist are very passionate about being our country’s best ambassadors of goodwill. Through their talents and winning personalities, it’s only a matter of time before our gentlemen make a strong presence in the global male pageant scene”, he asserts.
Asked to point out what makes Mr. Supranational stand out from the rest of its ilk, Marco says, “It’s actually more on modeling, but it’s more that that because you also have to have personality and talent”.
